YMCA Training is a national training provider with 30 years’ experience of delivering training in the Doncaster area and are based in the town centre on Regent Terrace, a short walk from the bus and train station. We offer individualised programmes including a range of vocational training alongside the chance to develop your maths and English.
Our staff are committed to delivering a first class service and we aim to ensure the learning we deliver is relevant and enjoyable.
We offer great opportunities to develop through education and training. You can start on a Study Programme or Traineeship to build the skills needed in the work place and then step onto an apprenticeship. Alternatively if you have the experience and feel ready, you can go straight onto an apprenticeship with leading employers in a wide range of sectors.
Our sectors are hands on, with the option to learn business skills as well as a trade. We carefully plan our programmes to ensure you have the right tools to do a good job with the opportunity to progress with confidence.
We deliver Apprenticeship training in a range of occupational areas from Business and Administration, Warehousing, Childcare, Health and Social Care, Horticulture, Mechanics and Sport and Fitness.
Want to do something different? Love the outdoors? Want to get involved in new adventures?
We have partnered with PGL, the UK’s leading outdoor education provider, to run 12-week courses (also known as traineeships) around the country. These courses will take you out of your comfort zone and provide you with the right skills to become job ready.
The traineeship courses will provide you with a guaranteed interview at the end, giving you the opportunity to progress onto a Level 2 Apprenticeship and/or a job at one of PGL’s sites.
